Hello! My name is Kristen Ottenbacher, and I teach 8th-grade language arts at Simmons Middle School in Aberdeen, South Dakota. My students look forward to a chance at "spinning the wheel" each week. This is where I choose a few students to spin a wheel, and the wheel has a list of prizes on it. One of the prizes they can win is the "prize cart," where they choose one item from my prize cart. I work tirelessly, as does my school and fellow teachers, to instill a love of reading in my students. We visit the library twice a month, but there's nothing more exciting than calling something yours.
