Hello! My name is Carrie and I am a first year Kindergarten Teacher at Kimberly Elementary School. In my pursuit of fostering a love for reading, I have witnessed the transformative power that books can have on a child's development. Unfortunately, not every child has access to a rich literary environment at home. I launched this campaign to raise money to buy books that can be used to send home with students to read with their families. Books create opportunities of exploration of new worlds and expand their imaginations.
