My name is Myrissa Kilde and I am the middle school Humanities teacher at Schoolcraft Learning Community. Working at a small charter school, my students do not have regular access to a library full of books to meet their unique and individual interests. To better serve the needs of my students and to promote a positive culture of readers, it is my goal to create a large and comprehensive classroom library where all students can feel seen not only in their interests but also in their own cultures, identities, and beliefs.
