Hello! My name is Leslie and I teach Reading for Special Education middle school students in grades six to eight at WainWright Middle School. I’m raising funds to create a classroom library that will encourage reading for everyone and every reading ability level. I hope that these books will inspire my students to read more. Children are taught how to read at school, but for students who face challenges with the reading process, reading independently is many times a daunting task. I want to build my students' confidence as readers and nurture reading skills that will last a life time. By contributing to my campaign, you’ll help me raise $500 to purchase books so that students will have daily access to reading material at their individual reading level.
