Hello! My name is Penny and I teach 4th grade at Lowrey Elementary. I am launching this campaign to help expand our classroom library to benefit my students.. One of the biggest joys of teaching is seeing a student fall in love with a book. It isn't always easy trying to match a book with that certain student. My students are interested in different subjects when it comes to reading books. Some love reading about sports while others might want a book about animals. I have many that are interested in fiction books also. Another obstacle when purchasing for your classroom library is considering that all students aren't on the same reading level. I would feel accomplished if I could get my students to love reading.The best way to do this is to expand my classroom library to include different reading levels and a diverse selection of book choices.
