For the last five years, I have been able to gift my students a new book every month and I would love to keep it going. Sadly however, Scholastic has done away with their weekly $1 books, but they do still have a $2 monthly book. With the price increase, I'm looking to at least be able to gift each of my students a new book every other month from September to June. That's five books my students will be able to keep to help build their library at home! If I receive more funds than my set goal, I will purchase more books for my students. I'm looking at having roughly 20 students in my class this year. So, I am looking for anyone willing to "sponsor" a student in my class for $10. All funds raised will go directly to my students! Since I have done this with my class in the past, I can tell you my students' faces light up when they get their new books! I order a variety of chapter and picture books, fiction and nonfiction, so they have different options to enjoy. Please help me instill the love of reading in my students by gifting them their very own new books over the course of the school year. My students and I will forever appreciate your generosity!!
