My school will be hosting Breakfast With Books during Nevada Reading Week in early March. The purpose of this event is to welcome families into our school and enjoy a book with their child. We plan to serve donuts, coffee, and juice as well. Each child who comes in gets to choose a book to keep. Our school has been trying to increase family and community engagement in our school and we feel Breakfast With Books is a great way to get families into our school and celebrate the love of reading with their child. The funds received from Scholastic will be used to purchase books for this event.
