Hello everyone, My name is Karen Tecson and I am a Special Education Teacher 2nd-5th at Discovery Elementary School Our students love to read, but due to their often perceived lack of abilities, resources for books and other interactive learning materials are just not available in our already tight budget. With the $200 dollars we hope to raise we will be able to furnish our students with the books and characters they love and introduce them to new characters, stories, and adventures. Also we will be able to purchase Learning Mat Kits which will help us to enhance our students learning and keep them engaged. In short, the $200 will go a long way to helping our Special Needs Students see their Spectrum of opportunity. Thank you for helping us to improve and change our students lives.
