Hello! My name is Ms. Albrecht, and I am a first-year fifth grade teacher at Underwood Elementary. I have the privilege of teaching an amazing and diverse group of students, and I want to make sure they have every opportunity to thrive in the classroom. One of my biggest goals this year is to build a strong classroom library. Books not only help students grow as readers, but they also inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and allow every child to see themselves reflected in what they read. A well-rounded classroom library can spark a lifelong love of learning—and that is exactly what I want for my students. With your support, I hope to raise $500 to purchase books that match my students’ interests, reflect their diverse backgrounds, and meet them at their individual reading levels. These books will help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that my students can be excited about each day.
