Hello! My name is Elena Maciel and I teach Newcomer English Language Learners at Heber Elementary. I’m raising funds to provide Scholastic Magazines to 40 - 5th through 8th grade students. Through the lessons I provide using Scholastic News my students experience increased engagement with learning, improved reading comprehension, and expanded knowledge across various subjects. When you become a Knowledge Ambassador by contributing to my campaign, you’ll help me raise $500 to help put a year of knowledge in the hands of eager and motivated students. Any extra funds will go towards building our classroom library and will benefit Middle School Newcomers for years to come.
