Hi, I’m MaryBeth and I teach 2nd grade at Cartersville Primary School in Cartersville, GA. Children are taught how to read at school, but the real joy of reading is found at home with their families. Can you help me give my students the opportunity to grow their home library? I am expecting to have 22 students in my class this year and I want to send each child home with a book each month so that each child expands their home library with a total of 10 fiction and/or nonfiction books by the end of the school year. My hope is that these books will inspire my students to read with their families. My target is to raise $400 to purchase books to send home with students.
