Hello Scholastic Supporters, I am a middle school science teacher and the advisor for our school environmental outreach club, the Green Club. We take care of the school's garden, recycling, and host environmental education themed events with other students on our campus. I'd like to raise funds to purchase nature themed books. My club students provide a service to other teachers by inviting their students to join us for a "green pride period" this allows the other teacher to work with a smaller group of struggling students in a more private setting. We'd like to add nature reading to our activity list for this service. We envision a group of students relaxing in our school garden reading and discussing cool books about nature.
