Hello, I'm Ms. Alice, a second-year 5th-grade Spanish Dual Language Immersion teacher; I teach both in English and Spanish. I am raising funds to help my 28 students become biliterate scholars. My students are smart, funny, creative, and hard-working as they master content in two languages. However, my classroom library is small, and it only includes a handful of books in Spanish. The funds from this campaign will help grow our classroom library to reflect my students' interests and diverse backgrounds. I will also use the funds to buy class sets of books in Spanish to integrate novel studies into our Spanish literacy block.
