I am teaching third grade to 18 amazing students this school year! I would LOVE to get their hands on issues of Scholastic News. It's a nonfiction magazine full of current events, science, and social studies topics written with kids in mind. It will help build background knowledge and expand their academic vocabularies in a more engaging way than our curriculums tend to do. Help inspire their young brains! Any money collected beyond that needed for Scholastic News will be used to purchase books for my students to have for their home libraries. I've done this for a few years, and I wish I could share the looks on their faces when they receive piles of books that they get to keep!
