Hello! My name is Holly and this is my first-year as a third-grade teacher. As a reading specialist of 25 years, I see a need to reach my lowest students without having the extra one-on-one or small group teaching that I had as a reading specialist. In the classroom, I have a library of books that meet the needs of my on-level and above-level students, but that are too hard for my struggling readers. When you become a Book Fairy by contributing to my campaign, you’ll help me raise $500 toward building our classroom library that will benefit kids for years to come by giving them easy decodable readers.
