Hello! My name is Kristin and I'm a K-2 bilingual teacher at CICS Irving Park. I launched this campaign to provide my students with more rigorous and culturally relevant materials. I've seen my students light up when the books we read feature characters they can relate to, and I want to foster that sense of belonging and importance in all of my students.
