My goal with this campaign is to be able to purchase every student in my first grade class, a new book every month of the school year. When doing so, they are being exposed to different kinds of texts. As a teacher, it is my responsibility and my goal to help children find their love for reading and learning. When this is done authentically, and when they are given opportunities like this, they can then share their love for reading with the next person.
