What You Need:

  • plastic seltzer or water bottles (clean and dry)
  • craft foam and glitter glue
  • pipe cleaners
  • small Styrofoam balls
  • craft paint
  • tacky glue

What To Do:

1. Cut wing shapes out of craft foam and glue to bottles using tacky glue. Decorate with glitter glue and allow to dry.

2. Twist a pipe cleaner around the bottle neck to form antennae and another to form legs.

3. Paint two Styrofoam balls to add to the ends of the antennae, if you choose, and one for the bug’s head. Allow to dry and glue head to the bottle cap.
