Guided Reading en español was created through a unique collaboration between Dr. Gay Su Pinnell and leading bilingual educators such as Enrique Puig, of the Florida Literacy and Reading Excellence Center. The result is an outstanding new Guided Reading Program from Scholastic that helps you bring Dr. Pinnell's guided reading strategies to Spanish-speaking students.

Guided Reading en español - Level 3 books have more words and lines of print than level 1 or level 2 books. Print is clear and readable with adequate spaces between words. Most sentences are simple, but some have more complex structure, offering readers a challenge. Language patterns are more likely to change from page to page, so children cannot rely on them to make predictions and must pay closer attention to print.
