Building Language for Literacy™ is a research-based program that develops children's oral language and early literacy skills, and can serve as the basis for your early literacy curriculum or can be integrated with a current one. Authored by Catherine Snow, Ph.D. and Susan Neuman, Ed.D., Building Language for Literacy prepares children for reading success using high-quality literature, songs and poems, and rich vocabulary. In addition, our three original language-loving characters Nina the Naming Newt, Reggie the Rhyming Rhino, and Leo the Letter-Loving Lobster will motivate learning and equip children with foundational literacy skills.
