A huge thank you to those who contributed to this last year! The excitement that poured out of our classroom each month when our book order box arrived was amazing! I am so excited to try and do this again this year! Every month students/parents get a chance to order from our Scholastic Book Order. The kids always love seeing the book order box come in and it’s extra special for those who can actually get a book, though not many can get them. I would love to see that continue to change this year! Scholastic has books every month that are $1 (sometimes a little bit more!). I would LOVE for each of my students to be able to bring home one or two new books each month during the school year, September-June! Does this seem crazy and unrealistic? Keep reading!🤓 If I select a $1 book each month, that’s only $10 per child for a full school year. $400 would cover 2 books a month for each student! New books are always so fun to receive and it’s a great way to build a life-long love of reading! I appreciate it more than words can explain! 😍 I currently have 18 first grader, but with move-ins I am going to hope to raise money for 20 students just to be on the safe side!
